# Walton Multiback Reacher — Final Information Needed to Launch the Store **Prepared for:** Walton (client) **Date:** July 2026 **Purpose:** This is the complete, final list of everything we still need from you to launch the store. **We have already done as much as we possibly can for you** — the store is built, and we've pre-written policies, set up Canadian taxes, created your shipping structure, added product codes, and more. What's left is mostly **confirming** our work and providing the handful of facts only you can give us (prices, your business details, and payment setup). --- ## How to use this document - Two kinds of items below: - **✅ DONE FOR YOU — please confirm or adjust.** We've set it up. Just tell us "approved," or give us your changes. - **⬜ WE NEED FROM YOU.** Only you can provide this. Please fill it in. - Where you see a **table**, complete the empty cells. - Send everything back **together, in one email or one shared folder**, when it is **100% complete**. - If an item genuinely doesn't apply, write **"N/A"** and one line explaining why — don't leave blanks. **The store cannot go live until every ⬜ item below is answered.** --- ## What we've already set up for you (so you don't have to) - ✅ All 11 products are loaded with photos and descriptions. - ✅ We wrote a **missing product description** (Back Razor Attachment) for your approval. - ✅ We created **suggested product codes (SKUs)** for every product. - ✅ We organized products into **categories** (The Reacher / Attachments / Accessories). - ✅ We wrote and published four **policy pages**: Return & Refund, Shipping, Terms & Conditions, and Privacy. - ✅ We configured **Canadian sales tax** for all provinces and territories (correct 2026 rates). - ✅ We built your **shipping zones** (Canada / United States / International) with placeholder rates for you to confirm. **What only you can provide:** final prices, your business/legal details, your Stripe payment setup, and your notification email addresses. Those are the ⬜ items below. --- ## 1. Products ### 1.1 The master product table We've pre-filled a **suggested SKU** for each product. **You provide the final price.** (Weight and box size are optional — see the note under the table.) > ⬜ **Final price** is required for every product. We've set you up with simple **flat-rate shipping** instead (Section 2), so you can **skip these columns** unless you'd prefer carrier-calculated rates. ⬜ **Is this the complete and final product list?** If any products are being **added** or **removed**, tell us now — with full details for anything new (name, price, description, images). ### 1.2 Product descriptions - ✅ **We wrote a description for the Back Razor Attachment** (Product #10), which was previously blank. **Please read it and approve, or send edits.** - ✅ The other 10 descriptions are already in the store. ⬜ **Confirm they're final,** or send edits. If they're fine as-is, just write **"descriptions approved."** ### 1.3 Product images - ✅ Every product has photos loaded. ⬜ **Confirm they're the final images,** or tell us which to replace (and supply the new ones — see Section 7). - ⬜ Two products have **fewer photos** — send more if you have them: - **Product #1, "Reacher (Handle)"** — currently only **1 image**. - **Product #8, "Shower Caddy"** — currently only **2 images**. ### 1.4 Variations ⬜ **Do any products come in variations** (colour, size, etc.)? If yes, list each product and its options, and whether price/SKU/image differ per option. If none, write **"no variations."** ### 1.5 Inventory ⬜ **Do you want the store to track stock levels** (auto "out of stock" when you run out)? - **Yes** → give us the **starting quantity for each product**. - **No** → write **"do not track inventory"** and we'll set everything to always-available. --- ## 2. Shipping ✅ **We've built three shipping zones — Canada, United States, and International — each with a flat rate per order.** The rates below are **placeholders**. Otherwise write "none." --- ## 3. Taxes ✅ **We've set up standard Canadian sales tax for every province and territory** — each customer is automatically charged the correct rate for **their** province (e.g. 13% in ON, 12% in BC, 5% in AB, 14.975% in QC). Prices are entered tax-exclusive and tax is added at checkout, which is the Canadian standard. We still need you to confirm the following so it's legally correct: - ⬜ **Your GST/HST registration number** (it must appear on customer receipts). - ⬜ **Are you registered to collect provincial tax (PST/QST) in provinces beyond BC?** We've set the standard combined rates, but whether you're *required* to collect PST in, say, Saskatchewan or QST in Quebec depends on your registrations. **Please confirm with your accountant** and tell us: collect all provincial taxes as set, or GST/HST only. - ⬜ **Confirm shipping should be taxed** (we've set it to taxable, which is standard for GST/HST). - ⬜ If you are **not** required to collect tax at all (e.g. small-supplier exemption), tell us in writing and we'll turn it off. --- ## 4. Store policies ✅ **We've written and published four policies for you** as professional starting points: **Return & Refund, Shipping, Terms & Conditions, and Privacy.** They're based on a BC-registered business shipping across Canada and internationally. We need two small things to finalize them: - ⬜ **Your business legal name** (appears in Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy). - ⬜ **A contact email** to list in the policies for customer questions and returns. - ⬜ **Review the four policies and approve them,** or send changes. In particular, confirm: - The **30-day return window** and terms in the Return policy suit you. - The **order processing time (1–3 business days)** and delivery estimates in the Shipping policy are accurate. - You're comfortable with the standard **Terms & Conditions** (or have your lawyer review them). *(You can view each policy on the site once you're logged in — we'll walk you through it if needed.)* --- ## 5. Payment processing (Stripe) The store **cannot take any money yet** — no payment method is connected. We use **Stripe** to accept credit cards, and Stripe verifies the real business behind every account. - ⬜ **Do you already have a Stripe account?** - **Yes** → we'll send you a secure connection request. **Do not email us passwords or keys.** - **No** → you'll create one and complete Stripe's verification. Stripe will require from you: your **legal business name, business address, a bank account for payouts, and government ID** for the account owner. - ⬜ **Business name for customers' credit-card statements** (max 22 characters, e.g. "WALTON REACHER"). - ⬜ **Apple Pay / Google Pay** come free with Stripe — do you want them on? (yes/no) --- ## 6. Email notifications Order and contact emails currently go to a placeholder address. We need **yours**. - ⬜ **Order notification email** — where you want to be emailed **every time an order is placed**. (This is where you'll fulfill from.) - ⬜ **Contact-form / inquiry email** — where "Contact Us" messages and newsletter signups go. (Can be the same address — confirm.) - ⬜ **"From" address customers see** on receipts and confirmations (e.g. `orders@yourdomain.com`). If you want a branded address on your own domain, tell us the domain. --- ## 7.
