============================================================= WHATSAPP TO KAREN - send as ONE message ============================================================= Hi Karen, Jennifer has handed the Villas at Blue Mountain site over to me. It's built and close to ready. 4 things I need before it goes live, and I've said what I'll do if I don't hear back so nothing stalls. 1. Azure isn't in the booking engine. The other 3 villas are. Azure is the first villa on the home page so its Book Now goes nowhere useful. Can someone load it into SynXis? If not, I'll change that button to an enquiry form. 2. Where do real estate enquiries go? Rentals go to reservations@. Nobody has told me the real estate one, so right now a buyer has no way to contact anyone. If I don't hear back I'll send them to Pat Staples. 3. Pools. Jennifer says all 4 are heated at no charge. The booking engine is currently selling 2 of them as heated for a fee, and doesn't mention it for Blue Ocean. These need to match or guests get charged something the site didn't tell them. If I don't hear back I'll follow the booking engine, since that's what people actually pay. 4. Just so it's not a surprise: launching this replaces the current villasatbluemountain.com real estate site, and retires the rentals subdomain. Site is here if you want a look: https://villasatbluemountain.demoing.info Password: showmethesite Longer email sent too, but these are the 4 that matter. ============================================================= WHY THESE 4 ============================================================= The filter was: what would she be angry about seeing on the live site? 1 Azure ..... first villa on the page, Book Now visibly broken. Impossible to miss. 2 Contact .... real estate is her area, and a buyer with no way to enquire is lost revenue. 3 Pools ...... a guest charged a fee the site said didn't exist becomes a complaint. 4 Domain ..... the biggest one. If nobody told her launch replaces the real estate site, that's the call that blows up, and it blows up on you. LEFT OUT ON PURPOSE: Photos, preview images, testimonials, the gallery, Tesla wording, More Info buttons. All real, all in the email. None of them are things she'd shout about, and including them buries the 4 that matter. THE POINT OF THE "IF I DON'T HEAR BACK" LINES: She doesn't reply, then objects later. Every item states the default, so silence becomes a decision she made rather than one you made alone. Keep the sent message. ONE TO WATCH: Item 3 is the one where Jennifer and the booking engine flatly contradict each other. I'd follow the booking engine, because that's what a guest actually gets charged, and being wrong in the guest's favour is a smaller problem than the reverse. But it does mean overriding Jennifer, so it's worth having Karen's answer in writing.
