Subject: Villas at Blue Mountain, a few questions and where I'm starting

Hi Jennifer,

I've got a working copy of the site running on my own server so I can make changes
without stepping on anything, and I've started through your two documents.

One disclaimer up front. Since we're rushed, I'm skimming for now and haven't had time
to really get my head into this project yet. Forgive me if some of this is already
covered in the docs or if I'm asking dumb questions.

Three things I ran into right away:

1. Booking links, mostly solved.
All four villa pages have a Book Now button that currently goes nowhere. I got into the
SynXis booking engine and worked out the direct per villa links, so Blue Ocean, Serenita
and Forget-Me-Not are sorted.

The problem is Azure. It isn't in the booking engine at all. The other three are there and
bookable, Azure isn't. Is Azure not being rented at the moment, is it booked some other
way, or has it just not been loaded into SynXis yet? I need to know because Azure is the
first villa on the home page, so I have to decide what its Book Now button should do.

One other thing I picked up in there. Serenita and Forget-Me-Not are both listed as heated
pool for a fee, and Blue Ocean doesn't mention a heated pool at all. That may answer your
question about the pools, but please confirm, because I'm reading that off the booking
engine rather than from anyone who has actually been there.

2. rentals.villasatbluemountain.com
I had a look at the old rentals site. Most of it was never finished. The services and
about pages are still the theme's demo content, virtual tours is empty, and the rates
page mostly just says Cobalt has been pulled from rentals. The one thing genuinely worth
keeping is the testimonials. There are a dozen or so real guest reviews on there and I've
already saved them.

So my suggestion is we retire that site at launch and redirect it, rather than keep two
sites running against each other. Let me know if that works or if Karen wants it kept
separate for some reason.

Three related questions. Is Cobalt staying off the new site entirely? Do you want those
testimonials added, because I think they're worth having. And should the new site show
nightly rates anywhere, or does all of that go through the booking engine?

3. The launch domain.
My understanding is we go live on villasatbluemountain.com, which is currently the
real estate site. So launching replaces it. Can you confirm that's the intent, and
that the real estate pages (the T2 through T5 designs, floor plans and so on) are
final and just carry over as they are? I don't want to touch that content without
knowing.

Then a few from your docs:

- Is there actually turn-down service? You flagged this. It's listed on Villa Blue
  Ocean and Forget-Me-Not.
- Forget-Me-Not, the middle photo. You said ASAP. Can you send me the right image?
- Villa Blue Ocean, can you send 8922 and 0826, or tell me where to find them?
- The Azure description you were rewriting, is that ready or should I leave it?
- Contact Us. Where should villa rental enquiries go, and where should real estate
  enquiries go? Same inbox or different?

Two housekeeping notes. I'm logged in with your credentials at the moment, so I'll set
up a separate account for myself. And send DNS over whenever you have it.

Here's roughly the order I'm working in today:

1. Back everything up so nothing is at risk.
2. The straightforward villa page fixes from your doc. Removing Dedicated Butler and
   the Tesla battery line, the Azure name change, and fixing that broken More Info link.
3. Build the new pages. Services and Amenities, Beach Grotto, Location, About Us.
4. Rebuild the header the way you described, tabs and dropdowns across the top, with
   the hamburger only on mobile.
5. Home page. Trim the hero video past the Sotheby's card, remove the two boxes, put
   the villas in alphabetical order.
6. Booking links, photo swaps, and general tidy up.

I doubt I'll get all the way through today, but I'll get as far as I can and send you
things to look at as they're ready. If your priorities are different from that order,
just tell me and I'll reshuffle. My instinct is that the visible things matter most
right now, the header, the villa pages and the new pages.
