## 3. Things to think about before locking scope

### A. New items that change the estimate
- **Quote wizard** — 4-step conversational flow. Needs: logic for conditional questions, lead capture, email/CRM hand-off. Custom build vs. plugin (Gravity Forms conversational mode?).
- **Empty leg alerts** — subscriber list, notification trigger, SMS gateway (Twilio?), opt-in/compliance. Bigger than it sounds.
- **Mega menu** — flat list vs. visual (fleet thumbnails). Price both.

### B. Items he cut — worth one quick sanity-check
- **Team pages**: he said no. Worth confirming he heard the SEO/AI-discoverability argument. Cheap to add.
- **Safety certifications display**: he said no. Odd given competitor norm and his strong existing credentials. One-line confirmation.
- **Popular Destinations**: he said no. Was pitched as SEO landing pages. Accept or reframe as phase 2?

### C. Content & assets (the real bottleneck)
- **Photography / video** — who, when, shot list from us, reference images, tail numbers obscured.
- **Falcon 7X copy + specs** — flagged as outstanding.
- **Team bios** refresh.
- **Brand assets** — updated palette/logo?
- **Route list + flight times** for destination content (even if cut, needed for fleet pages).

### D. Structural decisions still open
- Service pages scope: Charter, Aircraft Management, Adventure Charter, Medevac, Maintenance, Empty Legs. Which get full treatment vs. light pages?
- Sustainability / Carbon page (replaces current 404).
- Falcon 7X page: teaser now, full reveal later — confirm staging strategy.
- Migration from Squarespace: redirects, SEO continuity, launch day plan.

### E. Operational
- Hosting — us or them? (proposal left open)
- Ongoing support/maintenance package?
- Training handover for their team.
- Launch timing around aircraft arrival — is there a date to hit?

- $1,800 mockups — fixed, first milestone.
- $6,000–9,000 build — current range. Likely **pushes toward the top** given:
