window (big teams truncate to +N). Keeps the league structure and the equal columns; loses "everyone
takes the front seat" — the fixed big face quietly becomes a leader again.

lead at all: the most literally equal option), overlaps shown honestly (Darren appears in three rows).
Cost: faces are small, and five rows are taller than five columns.
