# Two guest authors survive the Molongui removal

Molongui Authorship registers a `guest_author` post type, and this site has
**two entries, both created 2022-10-31**:

Molongui is being removed and replaced by `bw-ai-schema-pro` for author and
Person schema (decided 2026-08-10). When the plugin goes, these two rows stay in
the database but stop resolving to anything.

**Rian's call: keep a note and look into it later. Explicitly deferred — it does
not block the theme swap or the build.**

**What still needs deciding:**
- Are either of them credited on published posts? If so, those posts lose their
  byline when Molongui goes, and the byline needs re-pointing rather than
  silently reverting to the site admin account.
- If they were one-off contributors, the likely answer is to attribute their
  posts to the firm or a real lawyer, then drop the rows.
- Neither is a current staff member — they are not among the 13 `staff` entries.

**Do not delete them as part of a bulk plugin cleanup.** Decide deliberately,
because the outcome changes what a post's byline says, and bylines are part of
what the AI schema work is meant to strengthen. Related: [[author-attribution]].
