Section 4, The Guide: six treatments
The bordered module is gone in all six. AISV’s copy is unchanged in every one.
The box was hiding a second fault. Five paragraphs run down one column with no hierarchy, and
it is the longest unbroken run of prose on the page, arriving at exactly the moment the visitor is deciding
whether to trust the firm. Deleting the border without breaking that wall gives you an unboxed wall, which is why
option B is on the sheet as the minimum rather than as the answer.
The photograph is the one already in place: a steel column base plate with one anchor bolt position left empty.
It is a workplace object, not a person, which is what the client’s instruction of 2026-08-27 allows. Greyscale and
grain are page-wide rules, so it inherits both wherever it sits. Two of the six drop it entirely,
since the client asked for fewer images and this section can carry itself on type.
Section 3 above is cream and section 5 below is tint, so white here keeps its two edges in every option.
APhotograph bleeds off the left edgeOne imageThe border goes and the photograph becomes the ground instead of a panel inside one: it runs off the left edge of the viewport and stops at the container, so the section has an edge without anything being drawn. It is the strongest of the six visually and the one that most changes the page’s rhythm, since only section 2 currently leaves the container. Two full-bleed sections three screens apart is a pattern; more than that is noise.

needs no photograph, and promoting AISV’s first sentence to a statement gives the section the one thing it
currently lacks, a place for the eye to land. F is the same argument with less ceremony. A is the pick if the
page should carry a second full-bleed moment; B if the border really was the whole complaint.
