That middle line is the whole technique, it concedes before it argues, and it is why these read as answers rather than as rebuttals. The build gives it slightly heavier weight inside a hidden panel and nothing else.
Four items is not enough to earn an accordion. Collapsing saves about 400px and costs the
reader three of the four replies at first glance, in the section whose entire job is to answer what is stopping
them. Where collapsing is kept, <details> is the right mechanism because every answer stays in
the served HTML, which is what matters for AI answer engines; the design direction is explicit that this content
is for buyers and answer engines rather than for rich snippets, since Google stopped showing FAQ rich results on
2026-05-07. Three boards leave everything open so the question can actually be settled.
The icons are dropped throughout. The build justified them as "the last four of the eleven", but sections 6 and 9 have since given theirs back, so the budget is no longer the argument; the question is whether an icon adds anything beside a chevron that already says "this opens". And the heading is OURS, not AISV’s: they never wrote one, and it was named on 2026-09-05 to match Direction A. That is a recorded departure from the mockup brief.
