Legal Problems Are Easier to Prevent Than Repair — five treatments

“Image leads” chosen; five layouts within it. The image is on the left in every one. What varies is where the heading sits, how tall the image runs, how the six incidents are distributed, and where the hope line resolves. The copy is verbatim and identical throughout — heading, lead, the six incidents, the turn and the closing two lines exactly as the brand story writes them.

The heading break is fixed structurally. “Repair” was landing alone on a second line. Rather than nudge a max-width until it happened to break well — which breaks again at the next viewport — the bold half is set as its own block, so it always reads Legal Problems Are / Easier to Prevent Than Repair. Option 2 tests the other answer: give the heading the full page width and it fits on one line at 46px.

The arc is the brief. Six things going wrong, a turn, then the line that offers a way out. Judge each option on whether the section ends higher than it started. Four resolve on a LAW strip across the full width; option 4 resolves on the image itself.

About the image, which is a real constraint rather than a placeholder excuse. The intent is a person, thinking, concerned — the pain made human. The client's instruction of 2026-08-27 removes team photos from the home page and adds “stock images are fine, just please no stock photos of people”, which between them rule out a person here from either source; and all 95 images in the brand shoot are people photographs, so nothing there fills it either. The slots are drawn at the intended size and crop and say what they want to hold, so the ask to the client is narrow: this section wants one person, not a stock crowd — is that the exception they would make? Until they answer, it is an outline.

The slot copies the hero's treatment — a LAW #FFFAEB block the same size offset behind it — so the two read as one system.

The gold marker is a gold underline here rather than the translucent band, which goes muddy on any dark ground.
