# Core Values and Behaviors — verbatim extraction

**Faithful transcription of the client's file, no interpretation.** The PDF sets much of its body
copy with heavy letterspacing, which corrupts machine text extraction (`Un d e rst a n d in g`),
so pages were rendered to images and read visually rather than run through a text extractor. That
is why this file exists: the PDF is effectively unreadable to a text tool.

What this material means for the website lives in `../../design-notes.md`, not here.

This is the client's proprietary material and carries their confidentiality notice. Use it to
build their site; do not republish it or pass it outside the project.

**This is an internal culture document, not website copy.** The brand guide's own Foundation
section carries a near-identical "EQUINOX TEAM VALUES" slide, so the two agree.

gold, body in near-black, and a stock photograph of a person occupying the right half of the slide.

## Page 3 — BEHAVIORS & ACCOUNTABILITY

Three columns, one per value. Each column carries the value name in NIGHT, a one-word virtue in
italic beneath it, a FOUNDATION statement, and a bulleted list of actions. Each bullet ends with
the internal metrics it serves, in brackets.

**The bracketed abbreviations are internal performance metrics, not website material:** BR,
Churn, New GCS Clients, Sales, Profit, Available Capacity. "KEDs" appears unexpanded in the
source. GCS is General Counsel Services.
