Under the hero — the Problem section

One direction now: the questions on a LAW #FFFAEB panel, with six ways of handling the questions inside it. The copy is verbatim and identical in every board — heading, both opening paragraphs, all seven questions, the closing line and the CTA exactly as the brand story writes them. Only the setting changes.

The constraint that shapes all of this: these questions are not there to be answered. They are there to be read and recognised — food for thought, not a form. So the design has to carry weight without offering an affordance. Two things follow. Row rules come off in most of the options: a hairline under every row reads as a list of tappable items, and spacing separates just as well without the implication. And the emphasis is never an underline in the text colour, which is the one decoration a reader is trained to click; where these underline, it is a thick gold rule set clear of the baseline, which reads as marking rather than linking.

Options 1–5 emphasise the gist inside each question — documents current and complete, client does not pay, just to get an answer. Worth naming what that is: emphasis directs how a sentence is read, so it is a light editorial act on AISV's copy even though not a word changes. It is a design decision the client and AISV may have a view on; it is not ours to settle silently.

Padding is up from 84/88 to 128/136 so the section breathes. It still holds inside one fold — about 740px against the 1190px it started at.

Header and hero are stripped so the six can be compared without a screen of the same thing between each; home-A-v1.html shows the section in place.

0No icon — the two you liked, combinedThe gold highlight from option 3 at the larger setting from option 5: questions at 22px with real leading, the gist marked, no rules. The control for this round — every bulb below has to earn its place against it.

You may be wondering:

Are our employment documents current and complete?
Are our client contracts protecting us?
What happens if a client does not pay?
Are our terms and conditions strong enough?
Are we prepared for AI, privacy, or cybersecurity risks?
Who do we call when a legal question comes up?
How much will it cost just to get an answer?

Your Business Has Grown. Has Your Legal Protection Grown With It?

When your business was smaller, handling legal needs one project at a time may have worked.

Now, you have employees, larger clients, more valuable contracts, new partnerships, and greater responsibility. The decisions you make carry more risk, and the legal questions keep getting more complicated.

You should not have to wait for a lawsuit, security incident, unpaid invoice, or enormous legal bill to discover that your business was not adequately protected.

1Small bulb beside the labelA 22px bulb sitting with “You may be wondering”. The lightest use: it marks the panel as a thought prompt and then gets out of the way. Nothing competes with the questions.

What happens if a client does not pay?
Are our terms and conditions strong enough?

2Bulb badge on the panel edgeThe bulb in a NIGHT disc straddling the panel's top-left corner, so the panel reads as something posted up rather than a block of page. Strongest signal of the six; also the most decorative, which is the thing to weigh against “elevated, simplified”.

3Bulb as a quiet device, top rightA large bulb in the panel's top-right corner at low opacity — texture rather than an icon, the way the swirl was meant to work in the hero. It fills the panel's empty corner without adding a thing to read.

4Bulb above, centredThe bulb set above the label as a small masthead, both left-aligned to the questions. Formal and calm; it reads as a section mark rather than an ornament, and it costs about 40px of height.

5Bulb as a watermarkOne very large bulb bled off the panel's right edge at very low opacity, behind the questions. The most atmospheric and the riskiest: at this scale the outline crosses the text, so read it for whether the questions still sit cleanly on top.
