# Adam's seven section kinds: what the page is expected to do with each
(G8, before any layout code. A first view, to be overturned by the browser passes in G10 to G12,
not a decision. Brief section 2.0: the document is faithful, the page is free.)

| Kind | First view | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Key facts | **Own block, high on the page.** | Three or four lines that decide how you shop there. This is the "core information up front" the mission asks for. |
| Key features | **Merged.** No block of its own. | Inside an area it is the same thing as key facts one level down, and a reader will not feel the difference between "facts" and "features". It becomes the area's opening lines, unlabelled. |
| Special offerings | **Own block, high on the page**, and inside an area where that area has its own. | Reserve and collect, a price promise, a loyalty scheme: these change what a shopper does before they fly, so they are worth their own name. |
| Notable shops | **Own block, inside the area.** | The roster is what "where do I shop" means, and it is long: it belongs where the reader has already chosen a terminal. |
| Interesting things to buy | **Own block, promoted.** | The strongest idea in the set, currently buried mid-terminal. Watch for whether it can lift to the place as a whole, and whether it can later join onto priced products. |
| Traveller tips | **Own block, below the products.** | Useful, not urgent. Wanted by the reader who has already decided to shop. |
| Restrictions and limits | **Own block, below the products**, under the closing block's own title. | Allowances are a lookup, and a long one. Nobody reads them on the way in. |

**Expected count on the page:** five blocks plus the area rows, against seven kinds at two levels in
the documents. Nothing is unreachable: key features appears as the area's opening lines.

**To settle in the browser:** whether "interesting things to buy" lifts to the whole place or stays
per area; whether the colour key survives at all (kept only if a reader learns it once and it helps
on the next airport); whether key facts and special offerings are one row of two cards or two rows.
