# Docs sweep, 2026-09-04 (Stream Docs, Wave 1)

Method: `bash main/docs-check.sh` on the tree at commit 6a3dc8d, a scripted scan of every
backticked path and Markdown link under the workspace against the filesystem, and a read of
the tier-1 and tier-2 files after the trims.

## Gate results
- FAIL: `main/CHANGELOG.md` first versioned heading 0.32.0, `main/app/version.py` 0.31.0. The
  running container reports 0.31.0, so the Paris collector shipped without a version bump. The
  request to rian is in `.logs/decisions-for-rian.md`; the gate is advisory in `check.sh` only
  while this lag exists.
- WARN: prose docs older than their sources. Expected on the night the docs were created:
  Streams A and B commit to `main/app/` continuously and the shells were committed minutes
  before. The signal becomes meaningful once each owning stream has filled its section.
- WARN: 12 handoff entries over 25 non-blank lines, all from before Decision 11. Left as they
  are; the rule applies to new entries. Candidates to distil into `main/docs/` when their
  owners touch the subject: the Paris (Extime) build entry (47 lines) into `COLLECTORS.md`,
  the Dubai / invented-barcodes entry (42 lines) into `COLLECTORS.md` and `DATA-MODEL.md`.

## Stale candidates (not changed tonight; the owner decides)
- `.logs/planning/build-plan-2026-09.md` §3c says "180 today" for agents.md and §1 carries
  measured counts. Fine for a dated plan; do not copy the figures anywhere.
- `notes/README.md`, `.memory/README.md`, `.archive/README.md`, `.logs/planning/README.md`
  are v8 scaffold text; retitled tonight, content unchanged.
- `.memory/adam-dutyfree-context.md` still names the old workspace as the Professor
  network's WordPress home; true (that is Adam's site), so left.
- `.logs/planning/streams/A-data.md` names `.logs/runs/beauty-candidates-2026-09-05.md`
  and `Q-quality.md` names `app/cli_quality.py`: planned files, not dead links yet.
- `.logs/planning/poc-dfp.md` §"Build scope" still gives the old deploy command with the old
  project name. Historical plan, `status: delivered`; left.

## Duplicate explanations (one home chosen; the others should link)
- The robots policy: `main/docs/COLLECTORS.md` is the home. `agents.md` keeps the rule in
  two bullets; build plan §3b and the A brief describe the fix and should point at the doc once
  A's per-platform section exists.
- The pipeline paragraph: `COLLECTORS.md` (how) and `ARCHITECTURE.md` (where it sits) are
  deliberately both; build plan §3b's copy is the plan's, dated.
- The deploy procedure: `RUNBOOK.md` is the home; build plan §2's token table states the
  rule, not the steps.
- The NOW-block facts (deadline, milestone) also live in `import/progress.json` (`delivery`,
  `cannes`) which `/plan` reads. The checkpoint rewrites the block from the same sources.

## Dead links (real ones; bare filenames used as shorthand were ignored)
- `.logs/planning/streams/DOCS.md` and build plan §3c name `.logs/deploy-failed.log` and
  `nginx.conf` as files to delete: deleted tonight, references are now historical.
- `main/docs/QUALITY.md` names `.logs/verification/`: created by this report.
- No broken relative Markdown links found.

## Structure changes made tonight
- `.logs/issues.md`: two brand-normalisation entries, the no-category pair and the
  name-splits entry merged; "Done" and "Resolved" merged into one section; five items moved
  to Resolved with the decision or commit that closed them; every P1/P2 carries its owning
  stream and decision; "Last swept" stamp added under the title.
