Hi Adam,

Thank you, honestly. I know my track record with you didn't make that an obvious
call, and I don't take it lightly. PoC by August 28th: a link plus a short video
walkthrough you can watch from Europe. I'm starting today.

Quick answers to your points:

The winners award pages campaign: don't halt it. The competition sites are staying
as they are for now, so nothing you're selling winners today gets invalidated. If
pages ever move to a new platform down the road, the old links redirect. No reason
to lose momentum on that for a redesign that isn't even decided yet.

Kristine and Matt: noted, and I'm treating it as a hard requirement, not an
afterthought. Whatever direction the content tooling goes, the bar is that they can
post articles, results, and updates fully independently, no developer in the loop.
That shapes how I build the content side, and training them would be part of any
migration.

The global database: glad you brought that up. The new platform is the natural home
for that idea... one central place where products, winners, and medal data live
once, with every site drawing from it. That's part of why I want the DFP data layer
built properly rather than just quickly.

Big picture stays as I said: focus on DFP now, the competition sites survive
untouched, and we make no redesign or migration decisions on them until you've seen
how DFP turns out. The October Melbourne conversation will be much easier with a
real thing to look at.

I'll send the $1500 invoice along with the WordPress support block... turning over a
new billing leaf :)
