# BW Video Text

Gutenberg block to display video and text side by side with multiple layout options.

## Requirements

- WordPress 6.0 or later
- PHP 7.4 or later

## Installation

1. Download the latest release zip from https://plugins.bowden.works/bw-video-text/
2. In WP Admin, go to Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin.
3. Upload the zip and activate.

Once installed, BW Video Text will automatically check for updates from `plugins.bowden.works`.

## Features

- **4 layout options** — choose how video and text are proportioned and arranged side by side.
- **YouTube or MP4** — enter a YouTube URL (thumbnail auto-extracted) or upload an MP4 from the media library.
- **Click-to-play** — shows a thumbnail with a play button; clicking replaces it with the live video.
- **Inline text editing** — edit heading and body text directly in the Gutenberg editor.
- **Heading tag** — choose H1–H6 (inherits theme heading styles automatically).
- **Font controls** — font size, weight, and style overrides per block.
- **Colour controls** — play button colour, heading colour, body text colour, text block background colour.
- **Responsive** — stacks to a single column on mobile, video always first.
