# Live → Staging Sync Plan (for Rian's review & approval)

**What this is:** I pulled the **23 "Live Changelog" notes** from the review portal (the changes the client made to the live site since our last pull), downloaded the referenced **Drive assets**, and compared **live (brentwood.ca)** against **staging (dev.brentwood.ca / brentwooddev)**. Below is what I'm confident I can take care of vs. what needs your input.

**Nothing is changed yet** — this is for you to approve first. Approve the ✅ bucket and I'll execute each and show you the result.

**Assets in hand (from the Drive folder):**
- `2026-Campus-Map-website.jpg` — the **new colour-coded campus map** (replaces the 2024 master map).
- `Strat Plan for web/` — Strategic Plan images + `STRAT Plan 8x11 v10.pdf` + Commitments graphics + logos (relates to the Strategic Plan / Academics-quote items).

**Note on the photo swaps (#8):** the changelog says e.g. "two photos replaced" without naming which — so for each I'll diff live vs staging to identify the exact photo(s), then swap. I'll show you a before/after per page so nothing is guessed.

## 🟡 Doable, but I want your input first

## ℹ️ Not live-sync items (flagging so they don't get lost)

- **Accommodation — "9 of 15 Curricular Activities photos are blurry."** This is a **staging bug, not a live change** — it's the low-resolution cover-image issue (the migrated photos are only ~1152px and get upscaled by the Cover crop). Fix = higher-res originals or a lighter crop on those tiles. I'll track it separately.
- **Alumni Reunion** — "REGISTRATION IS NOW CLOSED." The note itself says it **won't matter for syncing** (event is over by launch). Skipping.
- **Auto Hide Old Blog Posts** — that's a **feature request** (and a stray @mention test), already on the features board — not a changelog sync.
