The Brentwood 100 is the mosaic of numbered tiles celebrating the school's centenary. Each tile is one item you edit here — a short piece of writing, some photographs, or both. The grid arranges itself, in a fresh order, every time someone visits the page.

You don't pick one look. You pick which looks are allowed, and the grid chooses between them on each visit — which is what keeps the mosaic feeling alive.
The How this tile can look panel shows every version of your item, at half the size it appears on the site. Each has a tick box. Untick one and the grid will never use it.
A tile can be one of three shapes — Square (one cell), Wide (two side by side) or Tall (two stacked) — and can show its text and picture in different arrangements. The panel lists every workable combination.
What to look for
Untick a version where the photograph crops badly — a wide tile can cut off the top of someone's head — or where a short piece of writing leaves a big empty space. Leave everything else ticked: the more versions are available, the better the grid fits together.
Square tiles only ever show the text or the picture, never both — there's no room to sit them side by side in one cell. That's why the square options in the panel are fewer.

The number is a label, not a place in the grid. The mosaic shuffles on every visit, so #1 could be anywhere on the page — and somewhere else the next time. That's intended, not a fault.
With Media type set to Images, add as many as you like to the Images box. The first one is the face of the tile.
Add more than one and the tile fades between them by itself while someone is looking at it — no clicking needed. Small dots in the corner show how many there are. All of them appear together when the tile is opened.
Switch Media type to Video. You then have two choices, and they behave differently:

Keep an MP4 short and small — it starts on its own, so a large file makes the page slow to load.
Because it's meant to. The tiles are arranged fresh on each visit, so the page rewards coming back and no single item is permanently buried at the bottom.
It also means you can't place a particular item in a particular spot, and there's no need to try — reload the page a few times and you'll see the same items in different arrangements.
Add the Brentwood 100 Grid block. It pulls in every published item on its own — there's nothing to configure, and nothing to update when you add an item later.
Set its status to Draft to take it off the grid while keeping it, or Move to Trash to remove it. Either way the remaining tiles renumber, because the number is just the position in the list.
Remember
Every tile opens when it's clicked, whatever it shows on the front. The pop-up always has the full text and all the pictures, so nothing is ever lost just because a tile is small.
