--- title: Updating your own staff profile excerpt: For staff members — sign in and keep your own profile photo, biography and details up to date. tags: [staff, profile, my-profile, teachers, self-service] target: client:brentwood ---

If you're a staff member with profile access, you can keep your own profile up to date — your photo, biography, title and department — from one simple page. You don't need to learn the whole website; signing in takes you straight there.

How do I get to my profile?

Sign in with your Brentwood Google account (see the guide on signing in). You land straight on your own profile at /my-profile — there's nothing else to find. You can also go there any time by adding /my-profile to the end of the website address.

Note

If you sign in and see "You don't have a profile linked to your account yet", your profile just needs connecting to your login. Ask your Marketing team to link it — a one-time step.

How do I edit my profile?

  1. On your profile, click Edit Profile.
  2. Update any of the fields (see What do the fields mean?).
  3. Click Save Profile. Your changes go live on the site right away.

What do the fields mean?

FieldWhat to put in it
First Name / Last NameYour name as it appears on the site.
CredentialsYour degrees and qualifications, e.g. B.Sc., M.Ed.
Titles & DepartmentsYour role, e.g. Teacher, Mathematics.
CategoriesThe department(s) you belong to — tick them from the list.
BiographyA short bio. You can make text bold or italic and add lists or a link.

How do I change my photo?

On the Edit Profile screen, click Upload A Photo and choose an image from your computer (JPG, PNG, GIF or WebP). A clear, upright headshot works best. Then click Save Profile.

How do I sign out?

Use the Log out link at the bottom of your profile page.
