Brentwood’s campus sits on ninety acres of Vancouver Island coastline, with a kilometre of waterfront looking out to the Gulf Islands. In the summer of 2027 it opens to young people from around the world for the first time, for camps that run day and night rather than nine to five.
Two overnight camps, two day camps, and a coastline that does most of the teaching.
Our overnight camps are new for 2027. Campers live in a Brentwood boarding house for a week or two, with meals, excursions and evenings on campus included. Our day camps are the programmes we have run for years, running weekdays through July.

27 June to 3 July 2027
Turn the rugged Pacific shoreline into your personal laboratory. Unleash your inner explorer by sea-kayaking hidden inlets and diving headfirst into marine biology field studies with peers from around the globe.
4 July to 10 July 2027
Step into Brentwood’s high-tech, West Coast labs. Take your skills further by conducting advanced marine research alongside experts and transforming your coastal discoveries into real scientific insight.

27 June to 3 July 2027
Master public speaking and ironclad argumentation with techniques used to coach world-class debaters. Students build elite skills and prepare to compete for the Camp Cup.
4 July to 10 July 2027
Step into the shoes of international delegates to negotiate treaties and solve global crises. Modelled on Brentwood’s award-winning Model UN programme, this camp offers tailored challenges for all skill levels while building empathy, listening, and eloquence.

Campers arrange their own travel to Vancouver Island. Once you are here, a complimentary scheduled shuttle runs to campus from Victoria International Airport (YYJ) and the Swartz Bay ferry terminal.
Vancouver Island is not in the city of Vancouver. Flights and ferries to Vancouver do not arrive on the Island, so check your route carefully before booking.
Campers stay in a Brentwood boarding house, the same houses our students live in during the school year. Each room has a twin XL bed, occasionally in a bunk configuration, with a desk and chair for every camper. Towels and bedding are provided.
Houses have Wi-Fi, shared kitchen areas, flatscreens and common areas for spending time with friends. Coin-operated laundry is available at any time.
All meals and snacks on campus are included, served in the dining hall.
International students must make sure they hold the travel documents required to enter Canada. Most will need either a temporary resident visa or an electronic travel authorization.
Processing times are currently longer than usual, so apply early. To find out which document you need, see the Government of Canada travel site at travel.gc.ca.

Our day camps run on weekdays through July, on the same campus and waterfront. Campers go home at the end of each day.

A week of performance for younger campers, working towards a production at the end of the week in the Killy Theatre.
11 to 16 July 2027
A week of performance for older campers, working towards a production at the end of the week in the Killy Theatre.
5 to 9 July 2027
A week on the climbing wall and outdoors, building technique and confidence at every level from first-timer upwards.
12 to 16 July 2027
A second week of climbing, running the same programme as the week before.
Pricing, instructors and the season’s productions will be confirmed closer to registration.
