# Draft build — 2026-09-01

not touch the real `/summer-camps/` page.

## What was built

146 blocks. Structure taken from Financial Information (#915), the closest existing page in
shape: dense reassurance text kept readable behind accordions.

1. Hero (campus aerial as featured image) + hero card intro
2. "Two ways to spend the summer here" → two-cell link table to the sections
3. **Overnight Camps** — white card on blue with the at-a-glance list (ages, both weeks,
   one-week-or-both, English level, registration date)
4. Two images side by side: sea kayaking, Model UN
5. **Choose your camp** — 2-cell accordion grid: Marine Sciences, Model UN & Debate. Each
   panel carries both weekly themes with dates, using the brochure copy
6. **Planning the trip** — 6-cell accordion: fees and inclusions, getting here, where you
   will stay, entry requirements, paying, key dates
7. Register-your-interest card → overnight enquiry form
8. Beach campfire image as the divider
9. **Day Camps** — 4-cell accordion grid, plus the day enquiry form

## Decisions taken while building

- **Visa requirement is on the page now**, per Stacey; the visa *refund* policy and the code
  of conduct are not. "Key dates" ends with a line saying refunds, packing and conduct follow
  before registration, so the December content has an obvious home.
- **Day camps show dates and descriptions only** — no pricing, instructors or productions.
- **Pricing is shown tax-inclusive** for both overnight camps, as the source doc specifies.
- **Day camp descriptions are written, not supplied.** The source doc says "use general
  information from existing webpage" but #902 has little prose. These need Stacey's review.
- Sea lion, old-growth forest and campus aerial were uploaded but are unused in the layout;
  they are in the library for the visual pass.

## Images

Eleven uploaded, IDs 39215–39225, all prefixed `camps-2027-`. Prepared from Stacey's folder:
auto-oriented (the forest shot was sideways), resized to 2000px, stripped, quality 82.

## Still open

- The four Marine Sciences fieldwork photos exist only as thumbnails in the brochure. Asked for.
- No dining photograph; the outdoor patio shot stands in under "Meals".
- Enquiry forms are the Google Forms. If they move on-site, swap the two `bw/table-link` URLs.
- The Flywire PDF is a raw Drive link. It should become a document shortcut like the rest of
  the site's documents once the page is real.

## For the visual pass

- Each accordion leaves a gap below it where the collapsed panel sits. Inherent to the block
  (#915 does the same), but worth a look at the spacing.
- Overnight Camps sits in a white card; Day Camps sits directly on the page background. That
  asymmetry is deliberate but may read as unfinished.
