As discussed, I am slightly worried that the budget may not meet the ambition on this project, and if I underbid I'll likely end up paying for it out of pocket. However, I really want to help with this site. When I ran it by Adi, he was also keen too because he has some capacity to fill.

I think the best approach for sites belonging to What Works clients is for BW to quote WW directly.

With that in mind, here's what I'd propose with a $5k price tag:

**Redesign**

- send a couple/few inspiration sites so we can get the feel for design preferences
- mockup of home (hitting all the points outlined in the doc) + location + location hub + service page
- one round of feedback
- final draft submitted for approval
- additional rounds may affect cost

**Backend Structure**

If you're building with scale in mind, you really want to avoid cobbling together hand-built location, team, service, appliance, and brand pages manually. These should be structured into post types with schema built in. The hub pages will combine hand-built content with grids that list out the individual pages based on queries. The individual pages become standardized templates with lots of room for custom content. The schema gets baked into the templates.

**Phase 1 would include:**

Structured Content:

- Locations
- Team (simple version)
- Services (appliances)
- Blog (setup, not posts)
- 301 redirect map

Each of these will be templated as described above. Also, there will be ways to create the relationships between them. So in the backend there'd be a dead simple way to link a location with team members and services. So, for example, when you visit a location page the related team members and services will be part of the template. All the interlinking and schema references will be done automatically.

**Content**

Puling from your highlighted green list: about 28-30 pages. We would create the pages, migrate existing content with AI filling in small gaps, and the client or WW would be in charge of fleshing out or any major rewrites.

Note in particular that the doc is makes it very clear that 400-900 word unique content is required for all the location pages, but with the basic redesign and build, if we're on a budget can't reasonably offer that even if we're using AI. If we're value pricing on $300/page, thats $3600 just for those page. I could offer the AI drafted content and quick human review for $1500 if WW want's to do the review/polish? Or could just do the migration of existing content in scope and WW could do the rewrites. Also, of course, this doesn't include wrangling all the GBP listings and linking them in, although the structure will be in place so that someone can add the GBP listings to the site

- Home
- About
- Services + individual service pages listed in doc
- Brands (static page, logos only)
- Locations + sublocations as listed in green
- Dealer Support
- FAQ Page (without content but with the correct schema format for adding FAQs)
- Contact
- Blog + individual pages
- migrate existing meta SEO or auto-generate drafted new meta (usually works pretty good in my opinion)

The parts out of scope for Phase 1 are:

- **Full team member pages.** Ultimately these are going to be important so we want to get the basic structure in there right off the bat. But to keep the "phased" approach to the site, we'll just start with a simple Name and Photo approach so we can link them to locations and list them out. But the links will not be clickable yet because we wont have fleshed out the full profile. In the future, what we really want is a person page that has their bio, lists and links to their location, lists and links to the services and brands they work on, and all sorts of other good structured data.
- **AggregateRating (potentially).** I've used Trustindex for this and it does the aggregaterating schema, but there's a $65 license. I'm not sure if it works for multi locations though, I assume so if they are all under one account, but not sure.
- **Brand Pages.** Brands should be structured and linkable like the team, service, and location pages are. But this seems like the obvious one to leave to later. Brand pages would have their own hub pages with unique content + structured data put into a template.
  - one thought. you suggest a url structure for /brands/{brand-name}/{keyword-loaded-appliance-name}. I wonder if it's worth considering the reverse: /appliance-repair/{appliance-name}/{brand}. And in that case, you could go with the same structure for service (just drop the brand at the end). For brand hub pages, it would /brand/{brand}/ or maybe if you want the repair keyword in there: /repair/{lg}
- **Combo Landing Pages.** These are the intersection between brand/service (+location). They need to have structural relationships but also unique content. So you would create a landing page, specify the brand and service in the page settings, and then write your content. There would be templated parts to handle the schema and interlinking and certain parts of the page (eg. a map, brand logo, etc). It would also automatically query where that brand and service is offered and interlink them.
- **Blog Linking.** This is not in the doc, but would be a good idea to be able to link blogs to services/brands/locations which would place a related link boxes in the right place to encourage people to click through to lead gen page. Another possibility would be to use geolocation to pick the right location. eg. if the post is about a dryer repair and the person was in Victoria, there may be a callout box in the sidebar linking to the Victoria dryer repair page.
- **Testimonials.** We can do a reviews pages as described, but some sites have their own testimonials system too (marked up with review schema).
- **AI Powered Content Drafting.** Once we have the whole system set up, I could envision a way to do a one-click content drafting system. Imagine this: Create a LP for LG Dryers repair. In WordPress you create the LP, specify the combo, and it drafts a unique page of content specific to LG Dryer Repair complete with common issues (marked up as FAQs) model numbers, and all the other bells and whistles regarding interlinking. A technician would just need to check it for accuracy and hit publish, and all the rest would be done. They could even come back next year and click "update" to fetch the latest.

If they wanted to add the team member stuff in phase 1, add $1000 for the profile page templates, schema setup (via my plugin), best effort AI research and/or via survey entries.

If they wanted a larger scope I'll give you some ballparks but would want to do a more detailed scope before I committed to a specific price. It would likely range from and additional $2500 for the brand and combo landing page setup to over $5-10k additional for the full featured site with all the cool bells and whistles.
